Twins landing Josh Willingham instead of Michael Cuddyer?

There's plenty of word floating around that free-agent outfielder Michael Cuddyer will be re-signing with the Minnesota Twins, but new info that Josh Willingham is getting close to signing with the team seems to suggest that Cuddyer is headed elsewhere.

Sources tell Fox Sports that the Twins were near an agreement Tuesday with the 31-year-old Willingham, who batted .246 for the Oakland Athletics with 29 home runs and 98 RBIs in 136 games last season.
The Twins have been trying to re-sign both Cuddyer and free-agent outfielder Jason Kubel, Fox reports, and Cuddyer is seeking a three- and possibly four-year contract for at least $10 million per season. One source tells Fox that "an aggressive push" for Cuddyer is coming from the Colorado Rockies. However, the Rockies are also looking at Carlos Beltran as a possibility.
